In mid-April, Raising Hope visited the family of Mr Nguyen Dinh T. – who is a patient of the Oncology Department of Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital. He was diagnosed with metastatic stage 4 liver cancer and started treatment in December 2020. All treatment and living expenses were based on their small roadside diner, which was being run only by his wife. The first daughter, who was only 10 years old, had to take care of her father at the hospital and two younger siblings instead of her mother.
He had bravely fought the disease for more than 5 months before he passed away. However, one thing that he always kept in mind was to make sure that his children could be educated.

Therefore, Raising Hope would like to call for help from society to guarantee that his children would have the opportunity to have a brighter future by going to school and being well-educated.
