Intending to bring the warmth of the traditional Tet holiday to the Oncology Department – Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, Raising Hope successfully organized the “Tet Am” activity, with the fundraising amount from the community being: 37,620,000 VND (Thirty-seven million six hundred twenty thousand Vietnamese dong).
With the trust and support of esteemed teachers, and philanthropists, Raising Hope has on behalf distributed 68 Tet gifts to patients undergoing treatment in the department, and also visited homes to give gifts including 2,000,000 VND in cash and artifacts to two patients with particular difficult circumstances. The total expenses used were: 29,157,000 VND (Twenty-nine million one hundred fifty-seven thousand Vietnamese dong), including 17,600,000 VND in cash and artifacts. Any excess funds will be transferred to the Regular Patient Support Fund of the Raising Hope group as committed before fundraising.
