Thanks to the donation of our philanthropists, since May 2021, Raising Hope has maintained timely support for patients with difficult circumstances at the Oncology Department of the Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy hospital. Most of the supported patients so far have long treatment periods and difficult economic situations. For example, L.V.C is a lung cancer patient at an advanced stage. His family consists of an elderly couple and three young grandchildren. Previously, he worked as a fisherman, but now because of the illness, he cannot afford to work. Because of that, the family economic burden is now even more difficult.Raising Hope would like to announce officially that the total amount of support is 15.5 million VND. This amount of money is mainly paid for the treatment costs and part of their family’s living expenses. At the same time, Raising Hope also visits, encourages and supports patients regularly so that the treatment can be optimized.
